About the physician

Dr. Megan Dankovich (she/her/hers) is a board-certified physician who specializes in psychiatry and brings over 20 years of experience to her practice. She received her Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University where she also completed her residency in psychiatry and a residency fellowship in health policy. As a physician, she completed a graduate certificate in Nutrition Science for Health Professionals from Tufts University and is currently pursuing certification by the National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry. She specializes in general adult psychiatry, reproductive psychiatry, and nutrition and mental health.

As faculty at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, she currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and the Five Trimesters Clinic for perinatal mental health. 

Dr. Dankovich has co-authored several scientific publications as well as presented grand rounds, as a guest lecturer and at many conferences and has received multiple academic and professional awards. 

She is a Maryland Responds Medical Reserve Corps Volunteer and active member of the American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, Washington Psychiatric Association, Maryland Psychiatric Association, The International Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health and Marcé of North America and DC Metro Perinatal Mental Health Collaborative.
