Psychotherapy is a form of talk therapy that can help individuals understand their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, develop coping strategies, and improve overall mental well-being. Psychotherapy can be used for a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, and stress management. The different types of psychotherapy used in my practice include psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing and interpersonal therapy, each tailored to meet the specific needs of the patient. The process typically involves regular sessions where we work collaboratively toward defined therapeutic goals.

Medication management is a comprehensive process that involves the careful oversight and administration of prescribed medications to ensure their safe and effective use. It may include evaluating a patient’s current medication regimen, initiating new medications, monitoring for side effects, preventing drug interactions, adjusting dosages as needed, and providing education about the process. Medications, when appropriate, can help optimize treatment outcomes and support overall mental health.
